Hunger doesn’t just exist at the holidays or the days leading to April 15. It is a 365-day challenge to assure that those in need have food available to them. Some people and organizations are choosing to make a monthly donation to The South Florida Hunger Coalition. The monthly gift can be made through a credit card or through an automatic transfer from a checking account. By helping us once a month, we can help hungry people every day.
MATCHING GIFT PROGRAMS
Many companies have matching gifts programs where they will match their employees’ charitable donations. So you can double or even triple your gift through these programs. Please check with your company’s Finance or Human Resources Office to see if there is such a matching gifts program is available to you.
GIFTS OF PROPERTY
It is possible for you to give property – real estate or personal (like boats, cars, jewelry, etc.) – to The South Florida Hunger Coalition. Please check with your financial/tax advisor to see if this giving option could benefit you.
